FOURTEEN GLEAMS (and one more) (*)(**)

When the jaws of the abominable horror
thrust in her evil stink
ripping the native land groaning it
silently
frightened
indifferent
the petals started to forget about their beauty
tenderness crumbled down sadden
and with her
the happiness
the words
the thoughts
the dreams

And we were going alone
with fierce nightmares
tireless
unspoken
terrifying
without stars
or dawns
weaken of painless pains
shivering our souls
pretending ourselves
forgetting ourselves
inbeing ourselves

Life seemed to eternally die
and the emaciated kisses
fell
with those looks
into pieces
It was then
That
fourteen gleams
(and one more)
fourteen hearts
(and one more)
began
with fragile
small
tough
half braves

steps
rounded
the prodigious
invincible
boom
of spirit
of dignities
of justices
of truths
and of love
OF THAT LOVE
that cradled us
that cradles us
that will cradle us
forever.

CATORCE DESTELLOS (*)

(y uno mas)

Cuando las fauces del abominable horror
hincó su fetidez maligna
rasgando a la patria gimiéndola
enmudecida
espantada
indiferente
los pétalos comenzaron a olvidar su belleza
la ternura se derrumbó entristecida
y con ella
la alegría
las palabras
los pensamientos
los sueños

Y nos fuimos quedando solos
con feroces pesadillas
incansables
indecibles
pavorosas
sin estrellas
ni amaneceres
embotados de dolores indolentes
castañeando nuestras almas
disimulándonos
desmemoriándonos
insiéndonos

La vida parecía morir eternamente
y los besos extenuados
se caían
junto a las miradas aquellas
a pedazos
Fue entonces
Que
catorce destellos
(y uno mas)
catorce corazones
(y uno mas)
iniciaron
con frágiles
pequeños
tenaces
miedovalientes
pasos
en ronda
el retumbo
prodigioso
invencible
de corajes
de dignidades
de justicias
de verdades
y de amor
DE ESE AMOR
que nos acunó
que nos acuna
que nos acunará
por siempre.
